Well Eureka isn't actually Eureka though... It's just named after some legendary Allag weapons vault (which would be the FFIII reference), Eureka is actually just the Isle of Val. What we have currently has the Warriors of Dawn from FFV, plus the whole island swallowed up by the Void and transported else where? That's basically straight out of FFV, albeit the Isle of Val ended up somewhere else on Hydaelyn, rather than the Interdimensional Rift. Plus of course Krile is involved. I wouldn't be surprised if the big bad Primal sealed away is ExDeath in Exodus form (assuming Return to Ivalice wont be using Exodus, maybe Enuo if so), although seeing Odins sword in the trailer has me thinking it'll just be Raiden...

Could be interesting but since we already had Exdeath/Neo Exdeath I'm not sure if they'd go with this, or if they did they may make it an entirely separate thing and not related to the story Exdeath was based on in Deltascape. Guess we'll see.

Well whatever is sealed away on Val is a Primal, so its entirely possible to have some overlap with existing bosses (Phoenix/Firebird/Suzaku comes to mind). I doubt we'd get ExDeath as a Primal though, my thought has always been that the Allag probably sealed away Exodus (some of the Ivalice Espers were based on pass FF bigbads, Exodus being based on ExDeath IIRC) and he has now found his way to Val. Bonus points if the Warriors of Dawn found Exodus sealed in the Twelveswood (glances at the mysterious metal structure found somewhere in 1.x) before moving him to Val.

If Exodus ends up being in the Ivalice raid though, they could always go for Enuo, since that still ties back to FFV and the Void nicely. There's definitely a Void theme going on with Eureka based on Pazuzu and Louhi.

There were theories too that it could be the FF Mystic Qust final boss since Pazuzu was a boss in Mystic Quest and was the wind elemental themed boss in that game, but I'm not sure of Lou in Pagos follows that trend or not, I don't remember him but it's been a long time.
