Whenever I think of Bards, I think of Assassin's Creed's Bards. From the second game and on. ESPECIALLY that one mission in Revelations.

That actually is really badass. I would prefer that bards Chocobo song over FFXIV's current chocobo song lol.

As mentioned previously, LotRO also did this. I liked the bard/minstrel class in that game because, in addition to importing midis, you could also 'free play' with several different instruments. Unfortunately, lag (at the time) made it hard to play in time with others, but could you imagine how cool it would be to 'jam' in real time with people from across the world? One day, the technology will be there to make it happen.
