    Well also in fairness.. we can't deny that flying is used for pretty much everything in terms of travel, it doesn't require a loading screen to start flying, and flight space is literally just air. With diving there are entire landscapes down there fit with tons of plants debris, randomly placed schools of fish, sharks, land bubbles, visual screen effects, and more. It's obvious diving probably had 4x as much resources put in compared to flight.
