Careful what you wish for...we could end up with Nuny 2.0 one day. Perhaps another Agrippa/Pale.Well, now i am the one to go "Duh bro we do XX perfectly fine all the time". BUT we really are just fine with 100/100 Snails/Naked snails. That's a huge count but works every time for us thus taking ages. Feel free to confirm/decline if you have other experiences.
I just hope 5.0 will bring back some gathering or whole new mechanics. Having 1 that needs killing is intense, but having 2 AND such high required kill counts is just meh X-X PLUS Okina needing the right time too PLUS there are only 9/9(3/2 in northern cave, 2/3 in SW cave, 3/3 in SE cave) you can kill in a "wave"(talking the 1-2 minute wait for respawn) if you have 3 people. I mean we can only bear so much... How often did it happen that Dumbo went to near max? Way too often on our server at least. How often was your Okina 35h+ and didn't spawn so you had to wait few days to finally get it. We only have very few people that even try Leu/Dumbo/Okina because they are the biggest letdown of them all if they don't pop.
I know i sound whiny and deep in our hearts all we hardcore-hunters are fine with it. But you all know those phases where you just wanna endlessly rant about the whole system xD
I do agree some of the spawn conditions are significantly more annoying than others.
I recall having this happen once at least. Cleared the Tribute FATE, did a lap though the zone, no spawn. Had to afk a min or two, then I started a second lap and got it to spawn upon the third or fourth spawn point I went over (which I did pass over in my first lap). Only happened once that I recall for sure.Has anyone experienced a delayed spawn with Orghana? We had the spawn point located, flew there after the fate (me + someone else), it didn't spawn, we went afk by the spawn point, 5 mins after fate completion it spawned on top of us. This is the second time that happened, although we've also had instant spawns. Both time it happened it was at the spawn point by Yanxia's zone line.
Somewhere within this thread and also what i heared so far is that after the tribute fate the zone(NOT the players who participated in the fate only) gets a hidden buff that lasts for a while(we think it might be 15min, maybe only 5 or 10 tho.)
Never actually happened to me but it's pretty plausible

I think they need to add a hunt that's spawned by an emote and another that's spawned by crafting something specific.
But yeah, I don't ever want hunts like Nunynuwi/Senmurv/Agrippa/Pale Rider ever again. Those are ridiculously un-fun to spawn.
Yeah that is what i meant. If the hidden zone buff is still active while Orghana opens, it will pop. Only question is for how long the zone buff lasts in the end
I dunno, I personally love The Pale Rider and Agrippa The Mighty - I wish there were more S ranks that are similarly difficult to spawn.
I'm more bothered by S ranks like Bone Crawler, that are so easy to spawn they may as well be an A rank with a bloated cooldown.
I do agree that Senmurv is hell though, that one takes way too long.

I wouldn't mind those two being difficult to spawn if they didn't mean sacrificing map allowances, poetics, and/or gil to get them to possibly appear in a reasonable amount of time.
It's taken as many nine maps post cap to spawn Agrippa, so I wish they'd at least buff his spawn rate a bit.
