    Most likely, reloading would either be quietly ignored (like bards' endless quivers) or given a handwave of some kind (like machinists' aetherotransformers).

    I mean, this is a setting where a three-foot person in a swimsuit can hold off a dragon the size of a large house. Realism is best left at the door.

    Well if realism is best left at the door, why bother with a real weapon?
