    An MMO only needs a good 500k subs to survive and become a success to a company. Anything more is a highly welcomed bonus to the players and the company. FFXI has brought in a lot of profit to SE and it only peaked at around 800k(?). Also, consoles have a wider audience than PC since most people are not willing to put so much money into a gaming PC.
