    You can resize them. On controller it's R3 while focus is on the window. PC must have some equivalent. It works with lots of windows: inventory, character, crafting, etc. Press it repeatedly and it cycles through several possible sizes.

    [EDIT: found a Reddit thread that says on keyboard it's Control + Home while the window is active.]
