All I can think of is, a surge protection being tripped somewhere, check your PSU and see if it's capable of supplying power to the unit under max load, also check if power connectors are properly seated on the GPU and Motherboard, lastly, if you happen to have a PSU that can supply more power than the one you currently have, try that one.

There's a sound it makes on both videos right as it shuts down, and to me it doesn't sound like a normal powering down, it's immediate loss of power from the PSU, it's very similar to when you pull the plug out of the wall with your unit running.

I second this. This sounds of a hardware failure.

Good morning and thank you for posting on the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums.

As the above poster mentioned, it does sound like the Power Supply is giving out for some reason (not necessarily that the PSU is dying however). Generally, if it's a graphics card crash, the rest of the PC will stay on and you would have to force restart it. What is the wattage for that PSU? How is it plugged into the outlet?

Maybe try plugging the PC into a different power strip and then plug that into a different wall outlet (preferably by itself). If it is a power supply issue, it may resolve the issue.

We hope we can be of assistance in helping you enjoy the exciting world of Final Fantasy XIV!
