Where did the Lalafell hate originate?

At the risk of sounding like one of those people that whine about people disliking the race I play, I just wanted to ask. Where exactly did the whole thing against Lalafells originate? I hate to sound whiny but this is a legitimate question. I\\'m honestly unsure about the whole thing. Is it because gnomes from WoW have basically made people hate any short races in MMOs? Is it because people think Lala players are lolicons or wannabe-kid diddlers or something? Or is the Lalafell hate about as common as the dragoon joke, IE, Nonexistent? Is it all of the above? Is it one of the above? Or none of the above?

One another note, I wholly agree that the makes are kind of creepy. One of the few times they haven\\'t been crept to me is a cross-dressing glamour set I saw on the glamour set site. That says something about the female Lalafells.

They know deep-down that we are Hydaelyn's chosen people, and they've resented us for that basic fact. Think about it, we've always been the lifeblood of Eorzea. Do you think that these goy...I mean, guys, could function without our wisdom? That is why they're still being anti-semitic in the current year.

Because while every race has its evil, for most races "evil" ppl are the outlier but for lala its the norm. You can always find exceptions to the rule like Yotsuyu for hyurs or Krile in the case of lala

Reading your posts though throughout this thread I think you are taking it way to seriously...another reason the lala taunting has gotten as far as it has.

In-game that's enough reason for me to look for some GM to inform him about that harassment. I have zero tolerance with someone who don't even know me and think that taunting a random lala player is a good idea.
