Where did the Lalafell hate originate?

At the risk of sounding like one of those people that whine about people disliking the race I play, I just wanted to ask. Where exactly did the whole thing against Lalafells originate?

Not sure about the origin of the mass of hate, because I didn't really even know that there was such a large scale hate for Lalafells, but I just personally hate them because all too many people with increasingly annoying behaviors seemed to favor the race. People that spam emotes with annoying voice sounds (there's one or two voices that just seem to cut through me like a knife and it's a Lalafell-only voice, both of which were popular), flood text with emote spam and were just otherwise toxic people just seemed to be attracted to Lalafells. However, I'd be the first to point out that bad behavior is remembered far more easily than good ones, so I might see a Lalafell and go "ew, it's a Lalafell :|," I don't hold any grudges against the player behind the screen (until given reason).

Also, Lalafells are just so punt-able.
