Im enjoying having alts, I find it more fun to play another class with a new avatar to have that variety of experience in races, aesthetics, even a little difference in the story at first with a different starting point. But UHG! Its a pain not having my house or be able to send myself spare materials to use. I know its possible, in World of Warcraft as long as you had the name of the person you wanted to mail you could send letters. you didn't need to have them on your friends list. and truth be told I hate having to invite people on my friends list just to mail them. Sometimes I have items i know guild mates can use ad i want to send but i dont want the hassle of having more adds on my list. Sorry, babbling here LOL . Im Cuban Italian and French so i tend to be gabby. Thanks for your help and your replies.
If you are mainly wanting to have the freedom to move mats and items between your main and alts, then your best option is to own your own FC and have all your characters in that same single FC, so you can use the FC chest, which holds 150 items. So if you craft stuff (weapons/armor, furniture etc) on your main and want to move it to your alt, you can do that. Simply put the item into chest , and log onto your alt and collect it. That's what I did for months.now, some items camt be traded through the FC chest, like bound/used armor , weapons or items that say untradable.
