uhhh no that's not how it works. you can keep going floors and rolling just fine. i just did a bunch of maps and did exactly that and was just fine.

But what happens if the door won't open and you get kicked out of the instance? I don't feel like you'd get to roll on things that were left inside

An easy solution, if this is a thing, would be to let rolls go through first before picking a door. That way, in the event you do pick the wrong door, you still get loot distributed to whomever wins the roll. That’s what I’ve always done with the map parties I’ve been in—we don’t progress until the loot’s been rolled on.
