Knowing that their time and resources are not infinite, decisions have to be made about where to direct manpower. How much value would be added to the game by making unique gear appearance for this dungeon? Is it so important that there should be less content overall to divert those artists to this task? Reusing assets is an important tool to increase the volume of patches and is used by every videogame developer ever. It would have been very wasteful on resources to only use the baelsar's wall set once ever. No asset recycling would mean a slower patch cycle or less volume per patch if keeping to the same deadlines.

Its the male miqote that really sells the OPs point. EXACT same look and pose. Maybe some new poses are in order xD

Here's another negative thread over a dumb reason. All MMO's re-use gear, I can't think of a single one that hasn't.

Honestly, the formula for dungeons is a little too generic. If you play a dungeon about 6 times, you can usually get a piece of gear for each slot. While I won't turn my nose up at "better" gear, often the gear doesn't last patch the patch cycle, so once you have the entire set, there's no point to playing that dungeon again.Knowing that their time and resources are not infinite, decisions have to be made about where to direct manpower. Now had the glamour system simply allowed you to select any piece of gear you previously collected, and dye it at will for your glamour set tied to a gearset, then none of the gear in the dungeon would matter in the least. This would save us from "look-a-like" palette swap gear from ever needing to be a thing in the first place. If the actual gear look doesn't matter, just literately release "emperor's new suit i3xx" items for every dungeon, and force players to glamour it to get the stats for their job. That also instantly cleans up the armory gear bloat by reducing gear to just tank/dps/healer. This IMO would suck a lot of re-playability out of doing the dungeons, but it's essentially what people do already when they don't actually want the gear for the look. If raid's already offer better gear, and this gear just looks like previous gear, there's no reason to even farm it.

I always thought this as well. Also, some gear styles/looks being locked to a certain class/type, then being reused for another type to use. Would still love to see the Bogatyr set become dyeable for everyone and not just the ranged physical.
