as healer, how much tolerance you have for your party before you snap?

    - ignore aoe circle?
    - tank didnt use defensive cd?
    - ignoring mechanic?

iam still fuming right now thanks to previous party, granted we're just doing DF levelling but i swear is that hard to move away from red circle?

potato, iam telling this potato i had enough with this shit, you run around jump strafe shooting your bow but when red circle appear you just... stay put.

then i ask and all your answer is either /sit or /laugh, no.. matter... what... i... ask.

either way i put this potato into blacklist but, why? how? is it fun for you to do this kind stuff? spamming /laugh when somebody talk to you? /sit when red circle come out? how is that "fun" for you?

With you harassing example, so intentional and excessive collecting avoidable damage... vote kick, if it doesn't work because they are more, either explain yourself and leave or play the revange card: no healing for that player and when he begs for heals or res answer with an fitting emote or comment like "ups, i didn't callculate this avoidable damage into my healing, because you are suposed to avoid it and not eat it." and don't care.

I did burst out laughing at your wording lol, either he didn't understand, or just chose not too, sadly once in a blue moon you will experience this within Duty Finder. If you love healing, for the love of god don't let people like that put you off, we're rare enough as it is I certainly would have vote kicked, or you can always leave and re-queue I chose those options as a last resort though, mistakes I can forgive, that kind of tomfoolery you experienced would test most people's patience I think, even mine (we do have a regular thread for these kind of stories, see how long it is lol, http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...y.-Let-s-vent. ).

As long as they're trying, I'll usually go a full lockout timer.

A tank not using DCDs is annoying, but usually not enough to make me quit.

Last time I quit out of an instance early was a tank with level 60 gear in the level 69 dungeon. So I guess that would be my limit. Other cases like people not even trying to avoid AOE and mostly auto attacking? Yeah, I'll take the 30 minute penalty for that too, go do something else.

Two party wipes in casual content, anymore ill take the 30 minutes because its more likely not worth your time staying.
Raiding etc. its higher, but again it depends on the circumstances. If its a genuine mess up you can be more generous but if you are with people with the IQ of popotos then its Bye-ye.

After a couple of DF and running with guildmates, i just realized that i seem to have high tolerance when it come to wipe. I dont know why, i dont feel annoy or mad when it happen, at most i just end up with "¯\_(ツ)_/¯" feeling.

My guildmate healer on the other hand is really sensitive when it come to red circle lol

I dont really snap but i will let someone die if theyre annoying me

Lucky for them its harder to do as sch cus eos enables them
But in that case theyre just not my problem afterwards

Usually giving advice just makes people show their butts anyways so its a nonconfrontational way of making them play better lol

If I have to use 9 lustrates in a row and the tank's HP is still swinging like a pendulum.

Please use cooldowns if you're gonna pull big. The good ones. Not Holmgang at full HP into Anticipation with two gorillas and a pig gallery attended by a Garlean troupe all hammering flight of the bumblebee into your spine.

Mechanics are Aesthetics. Graphics don't make interesting gameplay.

Standing in an avoidable AoE isn't the end the world. Not sure why healers make such a big deal out of it and gripe when they actually have to heal someone. Most players don't make a habit of this, and even the best of us take unnecessary damage from time to time.

Tanks not using defensive CDs usually just increases your own healing requirement. Don't gripe about it, be prepared for it. The moment a healer argues that increased healing cuts into their DPS time, I immediately tell them they are playing the wrong role. In EX/savage content, tanks learn very quickly to be smart with their CDs if they wish to be more than fodder and dead weight to the group.

Ignoring mechanics can be both good and bad. It just depends on how much you are punished for not doing it. DF players on average recognize mechanics that incapacitate them whether it is petrification, confusion, paralysis, terror, elimination, KO etc. and do their best to avoid them because these take them out of the fight. Mechanics that just simply cause damage are left for the healer to patch up whether it is avoidable or unavoidable. You have to be prepared for each.

Now don't get me wrong. I am not condoning crappy play, and these very same things do get to me. My tolerance for it is super human level. However, what I absolutely have zero tolerance for is finger pointing and scapegoating. Even if the person is at fault I am not having it. I don't play this game to look after players being childish and will leave any instance that I feel I am forced to do so.
