According to your way of thinking, SE should be forcing me into PvP and Savage/Ultimate since I'm not doing those things and therefore I'm not playing and experiencing the game.

Please - don't put words in my mouth. No where did I state you need to experience every single aspect of the game.

What I am saying, If I were new to a MMORPG I wouldn't want to use a jump potion or purchase one for that matter. I want to experience the game (level up, do the story etc). Is that so bad?

I doubt the majority of those buying jump potions are new players.

We don't know that. We don't have access to SE's statistics. Could be alts like you theorize, could be new people.
