Make Pagos Minions and Emote Accesible

RNGesus is a harsh mistress. I have opened up many a cold-lockbox and have nary seen an emote or minion. too much materia. rare treasure boxes should not contain trash imo. and generally most emotes are very accessible in the game. why gate one now behind such content?

The boxes aren't that rare though, so if you only had the "rare" items in them, the rare items would become the trash you're already unenthusiastic about. Just picture how excited you aren't to see the Anemos pets. I do think the double RNG sucks though. Rather than drop lockboxes, it would be nice if the loot table of the box just dropped from the mob directly. Alternatively, every lockbox could drop a piece of currency that can be traded in for an untradeable version of the reward. However, this should require a high number of them per reward, perhaps 300 or so.

RNG should have a limit.
Something like tokens from EX primals.
Something that says "ok, you were unlucky... But you deserve your loot. You've proved it after 99 kills"

In pagos, there's indeed the minion and the emote... But same goes for TT cards. I've killed enough Louhi to make almost every relics (and i don't want or need to). I still don't have his card. How many more do i have to kill ?
Bunny fates is all i did for DAYS (weeks ?) in order to get the cassie minion and the TT card. I ended up buying cassie... But for the TT card i had to do it till it drops for me. In every PF i was making, i had new players who were like "so how do these bunny fates work ?" and 3 chests later they were like "oh look i got a card".

But what worries me the most is... It's not just Pagos, lately.

Same thing... There's 3 TT cards to get from there and a dodo mount... from random loots.
I achieved HoH 5 times, got all the things you can possibly get from floor 100. Tried to max the chests found between floor 70 to 100 everytime.
Never got the dodo... Had to buy it... Because no point for me going for a 6th, 7th, 8th clear without even knowing if i will get it this time. Most people i know got the dodo in their first few tries. Half of them didn't clear floor 100 once.
There should be a thing that says "you were unlucky but ... yea... now you should have a guaranteed chance to get it without spending 14 millions like you didn't even try". I don't know... Make it so the % of chance you have to get 3 stars loots is like +15% every time you clear floor 100 ? Or anything really...
I'm still missing the 3 stars card from it though. And it drops between floor 30 and 70. Meaning i have to get a full party to try and farm it. And i don't wanna go to floor 100 anymore. So it has to be a full party who is not going for a floor 100 clear / reclear. How do i find that really ?

Iactually think they done right by the lockboxes. Anemos had so many the items are actually worthless (seriously the clothing is selling for less than 500g in some cases) Pagos however, drops them in a large volume still (I had over 200 until I cleared out a couple nights back) but the items are much rarer. THe Pagos shirt is selling on my server for 350,000g while the gaskins were selling for 180,000g. I know this because I sold 3 shirts and 4 gaskins from the previouisly mentioned 200+ lockboxes and made a tidy sum. Much better than what I got in anemos where my biggest sale was the suspenders for about 12,000g before they crashed back to the 1000g mark.

As far as the minion is concered we had 3 up for sale last I looked...granted it was for almost 20million but still there.

I think they got the balance right with regards to items contained. Nobody wants another instance of anemos minions for for 10g with 80+ up for sale (seriously you can buy minions from NPC that have better value) and I'm glad they scrapped the housing items that were unique and dropped by the hundreds. Them taking up my inventory when opening the lockboxes was a nightmare.

Honestly Diadem was better. Well, I only did Diadem 2.0, but you opened lockboxes and got coins that you could just buy the pegasus mount and minion with. Making everything be like a .02% drop out of a rare lockbox is terrible.

Clearly the best system, much like the tokens for extreme trials mounts.
You get an ridiculous chance to loot it (<1%) but after 100 tries, you can finally reclaim it... Fair.

As OP, I've been struggling to find the emote, even ready to buy it on MB for millions, but still impossible to find it

I got the emote finally yesterday... I wasn't counting how many boxes I opened though, it was definitely below 100. I believe was between 50-60 cold-warped opened by me, got the emote and taruraru minion in that range.

Last time open 120 cold-warped boxes one after another and only got a housing item and a minion. The rest was garbage material. They really need to fix the rng to them. All I want is dang emote then never going back into Pagos again.

I finished my relic last Sunday and I’ve done 3-4 hours of Anubys farming every day since; opened well over a hundred boxes by this point and no emote. Only one on the mb on our server is up for 25mil.

The stupid thing is I probably could have spent that time farming something profitable to sell instead of the Pagos slot machine and bought it
