You could be right that im remembering it wrong, ill have to go back and look at some cutscenes. If only saying Moose's name would summon him to boards other then Lore. But i remember one more prominent Ala Mhigan amongst the braves(who i thought we recruited, but i guess i could be wrong). That being Ilberd. And he was definitely one of the ones trying to put the knife in our back.

We didn't recruit Ilberd. We first met him when the Braves had been organised and we were handing out their uniforms.

I checked his first quest dialogue (from "Brave New Companions"):

I don't believe we've met. I am Ilberd, and I will have the honor of leading my fellow recruits as captain. Much did I lose to the Calamity, and I look forward to aiding others in rebuilding their lives.
The uniforms are a shrewd decision. There is no easier method of creating a common bond among what is, essentially, a band of strangers.
I was barely more than a refugee myself for a time, and I know what it is to be without hope. I shall do my utmost to see this company succeed...
