The companion app premium and the mogcoins are bad deals

Do people even realize that the app is optional content and the only reason they do extra space and extra retainer above the limit is do to soo many request being made? I mean the FREE version pretty much does the functions, people are just paying for the extra retainer, space, and limit on nuts. IF propel don;t like it just don't get it and stop ruining it for those of us that do want it -.-. When you think about it how is it really any different from any other app that charges for gems, coins, ect. IF anything SE should have released the premium option same day lol.

You're already paying a hefty sub to play the game in the first place, and these are all things that people constantly ask SE for. We're constantly told "sorry, we can't do it" and excuse it with server limitations or anything, but suddenly they can do it?
The inventory sorting is also a painful point. People have been begging for better inventory management options for literally years, and suddenly they can do it in the app. The problem isn't the framework, it's how it's currently implemented in the game, and they can only be bothered to do it for the app instead of the actual game. the illusion of "optional" kind of breaks when you realize it holds one of the biggest QoL requests in the history of the game.

This app is a testament to SE's priorities and how they're managed, and people have every right if not an obligation to be concerned by it.

The app is horrible. It's a cheap excuse to sell another premium plan on of the existing ones.
They could give the extra retainer on Mog Station same with saddlebag.
But they won't seem as a "free bonus gift" along with a crap made app.
So they kept those and bundled them with the app to sweeten it.
The app itself it's just lame.
The chat function is only for the app users and not a real in-game chat where you could find your online friends.
We needed an extra chat app because we don't have enough already on Android and iOS.
No ability to change characters in app and no ability to send retainers for ventures which would be the most useful thing I could do when I'm not in game.
The inventory view is just useless. Watch freely but don't touch policy.
The only 2 Kupo Nuts allowed drives me well... Nuts.
The app is also very slow.
All in all the app was excuse to sell extra premium plans at a higher price outside of the Mog Station.

Your argument would be better if Warframe, a free game, and WoW, a paid game, both didn't do the app features better and offered some of these features for free without asking for a premium or microtransactions. They are saying we can't do half of these things that are minor and don't really matter all that much but limit how friendly to the user the app is. They don't allow you to organize retainers, they don't allow you to organize your saddle bag, which means your limited to your own inventory. Which should not be a problem.

As for the limit on nuts, it still should not be 2 for the free version even if that model was acceptable. 2 is ridiculously limited with what you can do with. Especially given you get one per day.

Also, is your enjoyment of a feature really limited to what other people are saying? "stop ruining it for those of us that do want it" does that mean we are going in and messing with your app? I don't think so, if we really bother you that much ignore us. But we have the right to say what we think and how we feel on the payments.

That being said, there are a few other things that I thought about since last night I'd like to add. Even if I personally would like the payment, the app isn't worth the money. The User Interface isn't communicated well, it's buggy with LS with commas separating into two different LS on the app, currently from what I've seen prices don't always render right for the sales of items on the MB, and on top of that the app limits you to one character meaning you can't even use it for multiple characters, so if you do sales with more than one character for any reason you have to get a completely new device and new app for that character specifically.

PS: on the subject of the 2 dollars I'm editing my post to mention that.

The app is ick, but don't try to directly compare XIV and WoW for value. WoW has had one robe model for 14 years, it has no real events, it has no real side content or even passable crafting. It has the most meager asset work I've ever seen in 20 years of the genre. You get nothing when you pay for that game outside of the core gameplay and that has been in the sewer ever since Wrath ended.

I was initially hyped about the app but the reality is that its not that useful, The problem is that you cant write from the APP to in game friends that's is the biggest downfall, secondly the value proposition is out of balance the app is not worth 5€ a month, Was 2, 2.50€ a month maybe?`but 5€ nope
