    The problem that people are having are not exclusive to not receiving the email. There have been reports of players being inside their houses within the 45 day period and getting their houses demolished unexpectedly, and also reports of players getting the in-game demolition warning earlier than scheduled despite being inside their houses within the 45 day period.

    You misunderstood what I said. The point that I'm trying to make is that the creation of this thread is helpful for investigating if the bug is real or not, and that I don't think this thread is helping spread misinformation because there are many people posting to remind everyone that the bug is not yet confirmed 100% to be real.

    A: In older MMOs, such as Ultima Online, there was a house maintenance fee you had to pay weekly, but in FFXIV: ARR we decided against this system. Similarly, these older MMOs also had a system where your house would break down if you didn’t log in after a while in order to have you continue your subscription, but this is a thing of the past and we won't have any system like that.

    Would be great to migrate to gmail if i had not 80% of my game/forums-related stuff on Outlook/Yahoo since 2001, i feel extremely lazy by thinking about it, that's a lot of services :X

    But yeah, clearly for people using non "trusted" email services, check junk mails, and force whitelist FFXIV-HOUSING@square-enix.com , normal SE mails don't have any problem, but the IP of the housing mail system is recognized as a threat :'x

    (Be noticed that the housing system have his own IP and have nothing to do with all the others SE mail you can receive, you can't really compare based on that)

    And just to be clear : https://hetrixtools.com/blacklist-ch...quare-enix.net is fully check as clean, gmail use this kind of up-to-date database.

    But some other "classic" blacklist checker services just timeout on this domain (and IP, if i enter the IP) , i guess it is considered as threat when the check fails, in that case the mail server just kill the mail randomly , if not, sometime put things in the junk sections, it's just... so random.

    I think OP had good intentions to spread awarness if true but bug seem be nothing more than a troll at this point, like I said before. There been no follow up, nothing that indicate any house been demo'd by error.

    Then the only conclusion for my problem is that it isn't a Gmail issue, it is an issue on SEs end. Either that or Google are letting some through, and not others, which seems odd.

    The thing i don't get... Why are these people hiding or dissapearing when people ask precisions ? Why they don't post clear evidences ? you can prove that a house have been demolished, even without logs or anything.

    I mean if my house suddenly dissapear like that under the 45days, don't worry that i screen the f*ck out of everything that can prove that the house dissapeared , in an anormal way , lodestone and all the sites that gathers data from the lodestone with a delay (there is an entire day delay with demolition, where your plot emplacement stay on your profile (and even sometime, in the game client the thing did not update instantly), exept if you buy a house just behind who make the lodestone update quicker), you can also screen the NPC who give you back things when the demolition occurs like "yeah, house demolished, take back your sh*t", which seems a little detail but can confirm that indeed a demolition really occured with your character. And then do a report ingame, and capture your exchange if there is one, or tentative if you don't have any response.

    You can't tell me that no one even though of that's, it's an MMO, people screens and post evidences when problems like that occurs.

    The problem on this case : There is...Nothing. People don't do checks, people don't ASK checks, they just spread the info. I think that's why a part of the community is frustrated.

    I know that it is a good thing to bring "light" on the housing problems, to make the dev check them and tries to correct them. but like that... not sure, it feels forced.

    Use gmail here as well, but I do get all my emails from SE even for demo. Did you check the junk folder maybe?

    I have checked every folder, both when the issue occurred and today. I checked the email linked to my account, both when the issue occurred and today. I can guarantee that the issue isn't an error on my part.

    I want to believe that some people are silently sending in their bug reports/support tickets and waiting for SE to get back to them. The other possible explanations... people don't want anything to do with SE after their houses got demolished, people not caring to report or not knowing to report after saving their house from the early demolition timer, or maybe just there not being any actual cases at all. It's frustrating not knowing which one it is.

    You make a good point about people not asking for checks. I think we can do a better job of informing people of not just the bug but also of what to do should they be one of the affected, as clearly as we can.

    Luxyn, can we edit the first post of the thread (and maybe the reddit thread) with the following?
    1) Bayohne's response.
    2) Drive the point across that the people affected NEED TO submit a bug report, otherwise SE can't investigate.
    3) Remind people that if they are going to tell their friends/discords/linkshells about the bug issue, it's VERY important to mention #2.
