Eureka Pagos: Stormblood's Featured Content-- Not Fun.

I've actually not seen them advertise Pagos. I subscribe to their FB page and all I get on my feed is Rathalos advertisements and recently Feast and the current event ads. I looked on their page and don't see anything about Eureka or Pagos. Perhaps they don't want a spotlight on it for a reason and know it has issues? Either way some communication would be nice. Like "hey we're working on it" at the very least.

Don't even think have my first relic weapon complete by level 35. still lack 260 crystals and 25 frosted crystals. Right now I'm 25% way to level 32. Think they need to give crystals also as rewards for finishing eureka challenge log or let us convert anemos crystals into pagos crystals.

They should be listening to feedback regardless. There absolutely should be GMs in game watching shout chats in Pagos (very hateful and negative) and community reps taking feedback from their customers.
Don't be surprised when SE releases a piece of content in a content lull and people play it despite hating it. They want to play the game and they are playing the only thing that is new and "casual".

Besides, leaving content for dead changes nothing. See : Diadem, Lords of Verminion, Astralogos. None of these have been changed and they are dead as doornails and have been forever.

They did for Diadem though. They just failed twice. Everyone quit Diadem so badly that the devs noticed. They tried to fix it in response but obviously that didn't turn out well. As for LoV, I don't think they care about that themselves lol.

I am fairly frustrated with Pagos. While Anemos was just about as tedious the NM train, which is what they wanted players to stop doing, allowed for a good amount of downtime and socializing during your time there. Pagos requires an insane amount of grinding that has to be done with hours of nonstop combat without interruption. You also start Pagos as if you never spent any time in Anemos. Something as simple as allowing us to use mounts at the beginning would have been enough to give you some kind of reward for the time and effort you spent in Anemos, but as it is now you might as well have not even done Anemos for all you got from it.

I'm starting to question some of the players now. Can't find a party, can't form them, can't navigating the map or mob or keep the chain while chatting here and there. Plus you crying about death. Like man, what can you do? Levels ain't gonna help people who can't solo a single mob their own level. Don't ever play Daryl souls. We don't want players that will beg our game into easy mode like this one has become.

OK I had written out a constructive post and tried to be reasonable, but the forums/browser just swallowed it so here is the unreasonably rude version while I'm annoyed:


Everything about Pagos is designed to waste the players time and is hot garbage in an otherwise fun and great game I've been enjoying for years. Whether this is the devs injecting their own beliefs of what is fun, or some misguided attempt to appease a small faction of XI fans, this shit is boring and unrewarding. From xp curves, to party composition requirements for optimal/desired setups, to NM spawn rates, to bunny fates RNG chance to give nothing, absolutely nothing for your time, to lockboxes/bunnies giving undesirables, right down to map design. EVERYTHING is antiplayer here and it is not fun. I'm fine with long grinds for relic, I've done them before multiple times. I'm fine with long xp grinds to level, I used to play Korean pvp mmos where 14 hour grinds for a week for one level was a thing. Never did I feel like those things were actively working against me. Pagos does.
