    Well, I am an archer and range has less influence than I thought it would. I can stand next to my target without much change in effectiveness in combat (damage/accuracy). Is it just me or does range really has little effect?

    LOL cash shop! SE's way to tell their player how they appreciate them... pull the carrot and empty your pockets $$$

    It would be neat if there were an optimal range for critical hits. It would require some "critical" thinking dealing with foot placement in a fight.

    Yes, I agree, takes combat one step further too, which is great.
    Would the majority be happy with this? Is this possible with FFXIV 2.0 at the very least?
