    apparently you can skip a significant portion of the tower if you do certain actions... is this intentional?

    Then consider that there's NPCs hinting at you to go Ninja...
    There's a few other shortcuts up by simply jumping to a different thing than what some people expect. You font always need to make full rotations around the tower.
    Also it's a small fraction of one of the easier sections. Nobody considers that a significant portion.

    If there's another skip, I'm all ears though.
