Have you ever lived in Japan? Warm, friendly when you are a tourist, cold, clannish and ignoring when you are not. Same goes for their treatment of non JP players. Perhaps losing enough NA subs will make them take notice. They don't listen to any feedback. I remember a translation from one of the live letters or something where YoshiP had said something to the effect of: "NA players are always talking, like 'look at me!'" - The translation might have been off but that statement was very clear in any language - he's dismissing us as noise. No one cares about our feedback. They don't even ask for it if you cancel your sub and every other mmo I've ever played does. There's no PTR, there's no representatives here that engage with the community, there's absolutely no one from SE at the wheel so to speak.
"Fanboy is gaming jargon used to describe an individual that has gone beyond the point of being a PC or console game fan and, during online chats or discussions, shifts to defend the program at all costs, unable to take any criticism or acknowledge any shortcomings of the game or gaming console."

The thing that drives me crazy about Pagos is the absurd amount of EXP you need to level and the lack of anything but killing mobs to alleviate that.
You have an expedition camp full of NPCs. You mean to tell me you can't make one that gives you daily quests, ala Beast Tribes, to help you level along the way? Weekly EXP from Challenge Logs isn't going to cut it.

As I said in another thread, yes, the EN community is loud, boisterous and vocal but to ignore us is done at great risk. The EN community is currently the largest subscriber base for the game and to loose it, even a portion of it, is a huge revenue drop.
As it stands now, I've lost the motivation to login right now.

Calling it "a few tidbits of story here and there" is very generous on your part, considering that:I think another one of the glaring faults in Eureka is something many of us can agree on. The quest is just so bland it's almost unenjoyable.
When I first heard that the quest line would focus on finally seeing the isle Val after it disappeared in ARR, I was ecstatic. I was looking forward to a rather good sidequest story. But coming to it, so far, it's just meaningless. Most of it is just us having to walk off into an area with enemies that are sure to curb stomp us so we can get a magicite. And in Pagos, so far, none of them were actually useful. We only get a few tidbits of story here and there but really, it's just not a good quest.
A) There was something like an eight level gap in Anemos where nothing happened.
B) The only plot until Level 17 was collecting Magicite. By the time something happened near the end, it was basically a hook for Pagos.
C) Pagos has continued to double down on the only story being "Collect magicite."

I love this game to death but I am really starting to question the dev team at this point. This is anything but fun, it is not casual friendly AT ALL. The other day I was in a farm group and I had to go to the toilet, got yelled at for AFK'ing for a minute (even though I said Brb I need to go to the toilet) and got kicked from the party. I think it's a sad thing that a CROSS OVER EVENT of all things is way more fun than content that was supposed to be one of the main selling points of a whole expansion.
We just killed 402 morbals during blizzard (same as we've done successfully before to spawn Cassie) and there's no Fate.
Four hundred and two.
Done, I give up. When you put more time into progressing Pagos than into progressing and clearing Savage, there is a problem in the content.
That - and I spent 2 lockouts doing the level 31 bunny fates non stop, got no eyes, no housing drops, no minions. Only trash. Really disheartened.

You know, I think the most fun I had in Eureka was when I realised I can equip both Interject and Low Blow to make chaining the low level fuzzies easier, because I could interrupt their last resort cure.
That was it. This concept feels like it punishes you no matter how you play it. As a tank main, it bugs me when people say that it needs to have more complicated rotations to make it more engaging like DPS. That's not what makes tanking fun, it's the quality of the enemies.
And these enemies are bottom tier quality.
