Some things I would like to see after decorating houses for the interior design contest — if they’ve already been mentioned previously, then I apologize... but take another posting of them as proof that they are relatively desired:

— An actual loft housing item: everyone glitches the Troupe Stage, but I would like an actual loft item that doesn’t require a glitch. Built-in stairs to it would be a bonus.
— A “rug” of floor tiles: when designing an elaborate master bath in my bondmate’s house, I found myself wishing there were “rugs” of floor tiles for a walk-in shower. In addition to this, I’d like to see more wall options for wall tiling, similar to the brick wall recently added. Or at least make the brick wall dyeable so we can dye it white or black for a make-shift tile look.
— Dyeable White Interior Wall: please, so I can have a color different from white without having to take up item slots for Blank Partitions.
— Blank Partition with Door: the addition of more partitions with doors was nice, but some still don’t fit some of the looks I had in mind, and the Oriental Partition / Paper Partition are still very Eastern aesthetic, and do not always go with more modern, western aesthetics. I’d like a door on the Blank Partition. I know that it would probably have to be a static color to allow the Blank Partition to dye differently from it, so maybe two options to start — a black door and a white door — with colors more added in the future.
— Conversion Of Interactive Items to Static Items: I’m never going to actually “eat” the food I sit out on my tables, so I would like to change them to Static Items so that I can have more picture frames and flower pots without items randomly disappearing all the time. Having to design around that limitation is annoying, because I don’t want my furnishing disappearing on a whim, but then I have to sacrifice design ideas.
— Allowing windows to sit on the partitions: so I don’t have to glitch them every time. Please.
— More modern double beds: I love the feather bed, but it’s so small, so you almost have to build a frame around it in a spacious bedroom to not make it seem so puny. The other double beds are too gaudy for my tastes, or they cannot go well with a simple, modern design. I’d love to see something like a “simple 4-poster bed” to give a bedroom a larger bed, but one that isn’t hard to work with in a neutral or black&white color scheme.
— More item slots: I was happy with the increase, but all the little knickknacks and new furnishing items being added, coupled with lack of customization for walls and/or lack of options in certain categories, I’m squeezing my item limits to death again. Maybe this is only a problem with me, because I like adding in a lot of the smaller items to give homes a more lived-in or homey feel to them, but it’s sad when I have to sacrifice some of the more minute details because of lack of space. :c
