Can we have an MSQ duty that forces people to do their openers properly like the glorious "skip Soar or disband" time?

This still exists within o4s (Grand Cross Omega would wipe the party almost guaranteed if someone messed it up) as well as Thordan EX back in its glory days, where Zephirins spear would wipe the whole party if it killed even one person. The others are right however in that this is an extremely punishing mechanic and when it comes to serious prog, sprinkling this kind of thing in would be lethal to most statics.
There is a lot of other heal checks in this game too, so I see what people are getting at but I don't think its really required. Spam healing isn't really all that fun and just involves a lot of screaming, especially with how server ticks work in this game.
Edit: Actually, the more I think about it, there are tons of mechanics that achieve this goal, synced and unsyncd. A6S Orbs as well as elemental passing, Brute Justice's Gavel mechanic (he also has the a6s mechanics) are ones that come to mind. Tsukiyomi ex will also wipe you if you don't have people placing their meteors on the correct moon color, if you want a more recent example.

An entire post that equates towards a "no u" that shouldn't be taken seriously at all. The moment that you try to use white knights to back your argument, you've already lost the debate.
You're also the person who made a post claiming that Savage was too hard and unfair a while back as well.
Maybe so, but I've changed my stance on Savage after giving it a 2nd look but I will never agree with the Enrage timer.
Clearly, you're not improving if you think enrage timers are "abusive and unfair" and need a handout. Bourne is a high-level raider and actually posts reasonable and knowledgeable information all of the time, maybe you need to get off your own high horse in thinking that you're someone who knows better right now instead of picking fights because you can't take a lick of criticism when it's thrown back at you.
So clearly attacking me how I play is the clear way to get your criticism across huh? That is the worst excuse of criticism I ever seen.
Then, if you can't take the heat, by all means stay out of the kitchen. If it's not for you, it's not for you. But, don't cry foul and then whine pretentiously because some of us can improve enough to do Savage correctly and then you simply can't or don't wish to make more of an effort than you've already done so. That's all the DPS simply have going for them, it is OUR job to make sure that we don't hit that wall...otherwise, parties could throw in all tanks and healers and simply wack at it to death until it dies. Length of a fight =/= difficult, it's tedious and boring.
You blatantly made personal attacks against Bourne directly first after she had said that you were wrong and disagreed with your opinions. That wasn't an attack on your play style, mine wasn't an attack on your play style, and you're being unhinged and throwing a temper for no reason. You can tell me that you improve every day until your face turns blue, but if you're saying that enrage timers are "abusive" and "unfair", then clearly you need to improve more or you wouldn't be hitting them.So clearly attacking me how I play is the clear way to get your criticism across huh? That is the worst excuse of criticism I ever seen.
It's common sense.

Where have I thrown fireballs at her? I never responded to her until she decided to say something quite rude, for the most part I don't try to talk to her because of how she interacts with people on here and she seems wanting to pick fights quite often.

You just called everyone that disagrees with you "white knights", I call bs on you not attacking anyone and trying to play the victim card now like you're some kind of innocent angelic Moogle.
Because it's truth whether you like it or not, the constant defending in this forum is why this game never improved and hasn't improved for the longest time.
Yes it came as harsh, but the trend in these topics are there.
The only truth here is that you're so bad at the game as a DPS you need a handout to get past enrage timers and want them removed so there's nothing for DPS to get the blame for.
That's the truth. Like it or not.![]()
And how would you know? Looking at my outdated parsing data? How could you know how I play? The only reason you cronies are attacking me like this because I went and criticized Enrage Timers which I find to be bad game design and nothing more but Enrage Timers doesn't stop me from enjoying the game because I still get through these fights just fine but I still call BS the purpose of Enrage Timers.
I'm not playing your game whether you're bad or good at Savage, I'm sure you do just fine as well judging by your confidence.
Please stop doing Red Cap Logic by saying "Hand outs" or whatever nonsense whenever someone points out a problem, on another note I can't wait for the day when Yoshi does Private Parsing Data because you all won't be able to harass others anymore now I think about it.

Just like others will probably never convince you that enrage timers are a good mechanic, you'll never convince me that they're anywhere near "abusive." They're not even a worry for you if you're as good at DPS as you say, anyway.
