    Hmm please don't tie these ideas to useless 3d models and I like it. How about suggestions tab? We see you have 3 of the for materials to craft X or we see you're missing X gear feom your armor set here's the item for sale. Click to see price histories.

    I love it when posters like the op sometimes dare to ask something new and innovative as opposed to expecting SE to fill in the bare bones basic features of an mmo (that admittedly do need their own posts too).

    This idea is pure genius! I'd take it a step further even. If your weapon, armor or tools are outdated, it would suggest possible replacements. If you are getting near a replacement (1 or 2 levels) than a suggestion should popup as well.

    But the scanning your inventory and making suggestions on what you could possible make is brilliant.
