    Personally I'd like to see more classes split off into multiple Jobs like Arcanist. However I'd have them level separately at the point they split off. Lancer could become a tank in addition to Dragoon. Archer might become a healer as well as Bard. Time Mage might be an alternative to Black Mage.

    Wouldn't it play opposite to to the other chronomancer, AST? All you have to do it make certain early AST skills shared.

    I think they are pulling away from classes, anyway.

    Yeah I've posted a similar idea before, more branching jobs but have classes finish at level 30.

    Not sure whether I'd hard cap them at 30 though, or soft cap so they just stop gaining abilities at that point.

    Devs in some interview done one or two years ago, told that the ACN/SMN/SCH way of doing jobs turned to be a bad idea and source of a number of problems, so they won't want make something like that again.

    It is likely any new upcoming job will starts brand anew as happened to AST, DRK and MCH.

    Chocobo Knight: A knight that mounts his chocobo to battle. This job would be unique in that he mounts his own companion chocobo and whatever customization's are used by your companion would be used at random intervals such as choco cure. The knight would have jousting abilities such as choco joust (Basic Attack), and abilities to tank with his feathery friend. And best of all they use jousting spears so finally a tank that doesn't use swords or slashing weapons

    Some ability ideas:
    Native Trait: all damage is split between the knight and chocobo (50/50)

    1.) Choco Joust: Basic attack, combo starter.
    2.) Chocobuckle: Ranged attack, increases enmity.
    3.) Choco Whistle: Calls your chocobo and mounts him. Your chocobo has his own HP bar and companion abilities. (Uses a random companion ability every 30s depending on the situation at hand and obtained abilities.)
    4.) Kweh!?: Deals AOE damage and increases enmity, requires to be mounted.
    5.) Hasty Joust: Combo to Choco Joust + Haste effect on self.
    6.) Choco Medic: Forces the Choco to use an obtained ability from his healer arsenal.
    7.) Choco Sentinel: Forces the Choco to use an obtained ability from his tank arsenal.
    8.) Choco Commando: Forces the Choco to use an obtained ability from his attacker arsenal.
    9.) Choco Convert: Converts your and your Chocobo's HP.
    10.) Choco Link: Any abilities used on yourself or the chocobo take effect on both of you.
    11.) Choco Will: Your chocobo bares the next blow fully.

    Limit Break: Mighty Fat Chocobo (Calls upon Fat Chocobo to bare the blow for the party)

    You should get the idea, sure those who have their chocobo leveled more than other's would get better chocobo companion abilities, but the upside is that your chocobo would also get experience in these dungeons, so overtime you should have these abilities as well or atleast be at rank 10 allowing you access to a fully spec tree.

    After recently playing Bravely Default I fell in love with Spell Fencer!

    So I made a spell fencer hybrid job concept that was inspired by that and a gunblade.

    But I feel a Spell Fencer would be a true DPS hybrid caster that I felt RDM should have been
