Dismissing people in Gubal?

I was doing 59 Gubal and I joined a party in progress. I said hi, they were a bit before the second boss... We killed the boss no issues. Afterward I greeded on one of the items (I already had the other), and after the boss I was kicked without a single word out of anyone in the group.

I'm not necessarily asking "WHY DID THEY KICK ME!!!" in the sense of like, did I do something wrong/why are people so meeeean, etc.... I'm more curious if there's some exploit or something weird happening with 59 Gubal because it's such a popular leveling dungeon or if I just got some rando weirdos?

I wouldn't worry too much about it, doubt there is any kind of exploit and if at least two of the players already in there were pre-formed (or not but made an agreement) then anyone could initiate a kick on a player and the majority would succeed in kicking them. Who knows what the reasons were, I've had players just randomly leave a duty without even saying a word, like literally everything could be going fine then poof, they're gone and everyone else is left scratching their heads while waiting for a replacement.

Vote dismiss in 4 person content works such that only 1 person is required to click yes. So if you bring a friend, you can guarantee a successful votekick. Some people get offended over petty/obscure things. Some people do it "for the lulz". etc.

Gotcha... it was pretty strange. Literally everything was going fine, not like, two words were said... and then after the boss I was just randomly kicked... so strange.

i was kicked for nothing in expert roulette at the last boss, i was like ''whaat''. rest of the party was pre-made so yeah, people can be d*cks. I reported them but ofc SE doesn't even say what happened to them after your report.

People are also braindead sheep when it comes to vote dismiss. "Hurdurr, this guy initiated a vote kick. I don't know why, but he must have a good reason"

Just file it under someone didn't want you around, and if they didn't want to tell you why it's not your problem. You'll give yourself heartburn trying to figure something out they really should've had the courtesy to share with you -- politely.

I qued for sohm al as MCH in hw as i was sick of potd so sat through that lovely dps que and get to first boss person told me to pull out my turret (i was new to mch at the time)I clicked Bishop by mistake and then i got kicked for pulling out wrong turret.

What part of adding a "you are being kicked" message would stop people from using it? The game knows who initiated(and who voted for) any kick, so if some sort of investigation were warranted they already have the info.

First off, adding a message is just begging for drama.

Second of all, if someone doesn't want to play with you, for whatever reason, it's better to encourage more kicks than less to short circuit drama before it escalates to full on you don't pay my sub territory.

Low dps is a good reason to kick someone at 70. Kicking someone because their pink glamour gives you anxiety is a dumb reason.

If it's going to cause an argument, kick. Good or bad reason.
