They could easily allow players to make furniture and such and that alone would keep people busy for a LONG time.

This might be very true, however we lack a place to place / use these furnitures etc.
If we dont have that it would be as pointless as crafting feels now, grind purpose only and no use but for selling.
I used to be Noomy...then i took shiva's Hail Storm to my knee...
(and yes Skyrim isn't that great when you actually analyze it and not look past its problems)haha I sooooo beg to differ. There's no way XIV is better than Skyrim at the moment. And yeah, that's where I been. My Lizard Necromancer and Khajiit Thief take priority over my gladiator-that-I-can't-find-a-party-for. Even Famitsu gave the game a perfect score. And they hate western games. Was gonna play Skyrim myself, but was so messy & well...
If gaming was just about looks, we'd all be pining for Everquest 3 and the next Crysis. In the real world, however, people play games that are fun.

Okay? I don't think I've read anyone saying XIV was better than Skyrim unless I missed a post.
FFXIII-2 also received a perfect score, doesn't really change anything about the fact it has some pretty glaring issues when they do crop up.Even Famitsu gave the game a perfect score.
While you bring up a valid point about issues like bugs in Skyrim, I'm gonna have to ask: Where do you live that you have already played FFXIII-2, and can you hook me up?FFXIII-2 also received a perfect score, doesn't really change anything about the fact it has some pretty glaring issues when they do crop up.
