A lot of people need to realize the only purpose to do content should not be for gear. It's nice to get loot out of it yes but if that's the only thing that gets you to do content then you will never be happy in an MMO unless they hand you the best gear for no work at all.

Even the materia set up doesn't hand you the best gear that still takes work. You generally should take on content for the fun and challenge of it, shouldn't that also be an incentive to do content? Or am I mistaking in that people who complain about easy content are just complaining for the sake of complaining?
