    Sounds like you have to keep it on Steady when not engaging an enemy. That way it wont attack even if it gets aggro unless you command it.

    yeah, and also alway keep your eye on your pet all the time to manual command it, i'm not say clear floor 100 with smn is impossible because i did it, but it's very tiresome compare with other job

    Which is what one should expect with a Pet Job, no?

    Not all Jobs are identical, so it's to be expected that some will have advantages over others.
