I heard that you can get bigger crit heals in Nocturnal, but in that case the person would mostly be healing with benefic or benefic II (and Helios) for the crit proc. My AST is my best geared right now, I use that for higher end stuff and the I try to switch to accommodate whoever I am running with. There have been cases when I A) didn't switch in time and had to wait until a battle was over (for Trials this means straight heals with no Aspected, depending on what I'm paired with) and B) it's synched content and I forgot a sect at all and accidently picked the wrong one because I wasn't paying attention. I still take it upon myself to adjust if the other person either can't (due to class) or won't (because reasons, I guess). I'm sorry you've had so many issues. I have all 3 healers and I've run into many versions of this.
