Excuse me, but since we don't have pvp yet, how do you plan on using your over powered weapon?If the weapon from all primals are gonna be about the same strength, then SE will need to do something to keep player playng too. Because many people would just take a long break thinking how they already have all the best weapon in their hands until 2.0. (many people not care about different look)
Untill 2.0 (at least) this mmo is still pve oriented, this means that the focus is on the fight, not on the reward... or on the reward if it helps the next fight.
The point is that your reason to play and pay the subscription should be the Primal fight itself, not his OP weapon.
Giving all of them the same average power means that at the end we'll have X endgame fights that will never be outdated and each class will have an arsenal of X weapons to chose from, based on situations, stats, elements or even appearence.
It sounds great to me ^^
If you think that there's no point in getting Moogle weapons, just keep in mind that your Ifrit weapons won't do much good against Garuda.
I hope that they're planning on having a special U/U storage option or something after the Moogle fight. I'm gonna be out of space before too long with all of these weapons.
I look at the primal weapons as a sort of a one time trophy that V2 players may not be able to get since the primal battles themselves may pre-v2 content only. I think the unique if absurd appearance will make them interesting coversation pieces if V2 takes off. Its sort of pointless to expect each new addition to the primal line of gear to have uber stats compared to the last ones. They're all meant to be obtained by R50 players after all >.>;
The primal battles will never be only v1 content. Why should they throw away all their content? lol to begin from 0 and do another no content start? I really like the idea of getting a unique weapon from each primal. want to kill shiva with Ifrit weaponsand garuda weapons look awesome so far.
The current primal battles would be only v1 content. They are part of the 7th umbral storyline. With v2 there is coming another primal battles with maybe another rewards.
some of the dungeons will be v1 only most of the content will be imported to v2. i personally cant wait to see what the well planned out strong holds look like compared to the existing zone ones we have now.
It makes sense. Its lame as hell that we get ported to ifrit instead of putting the fight in the bottom of a huge volcano or something that you have to hack and flash through in order to get to it.
