They need to stop the nerfing -.- lowers the quality of players.

Nerfing is no bueno, but clearing old content because of echo or unsync is fine. Not a lot of ppl do old content and it's not a good thing or positive thing to force someone who hasn't clear xxx content to try to find 7 other ppl to try to clear xxx content because they came late or they were not around at the time the content was relevant.
Where do you get the idea from that they're significantly nerfing content?
They outright refused to nerf Shinryu NM, even if a lot of people cried for that.
What makes fights easier at a later point in the circle is better gear and eventually Echo - not altered mechanics of the fight itself.
Yes, some content has been nerfed - but the majority of the content hasnt been touched or adjusted. "Nerfing" content isnt really the mainfactor in low quality of player-skill - easy content to begin with is.
Besides the fact that people are wiping in old content, can't follow simple mechanics, think they know their job and can't use Simple CD? As for shin really? It was pretty much main attacks from old Aions battles. If people think it's new then they must really not understand or put attention to battle mechanics. This is what happens when you remove XP penalty from games. Give them a trophy for just trying lol. Well it's not FFXI but hey this is a nice time killer guess we can only teach or put up with it. But carry people lol funny.Where do you get the idea from that they're significantly nerfing content?

Sometimes folks just don't know the old mechanics or the flow of the fight is disrupted because mechanics are skipped due to vastly outgearing the content.
Out and outright nerfs are always no buneo but unless you enforce minimum ilvl synch on old content eventually it gets trampled on. This is true of every MMO....even the ones that had XP loss.

I don’t really care.
Yes, people are wiping on any sort of content because they dont understand mechanics - but the mechanics are still there.Besides the fact that people are wiping in old content, can't follow simple mechanics, think they know their job and can't use Simple CD? I asked you what content got significantly nerfed. Not what content people struggle with.
Look at it though: People were and are struggeling with Shinryu NM and yet he still got all his mechanics. Wether or not you personally think those mechanics are difficult or not doesnt matter in the context of content being nerfed, because in most cases it doesnt.
Your points might be somewhat valid, but they're not relevant to the question of old content being made easier or the topic of nerfing content.
You could always carry someone through 95% of content, because besides EX-primals and Savage its not even that difficult to begin with, even without it being hypothetically nerfed.
It's kind of a mixed bag....
On one hand it makes me sad how pathetically easy some fights (all of the coils) and old alex (1-4savage) are. Some of these had great fights and mechanics that made getting gear 'worth it'. Now, the bosses go down and poof! easy peasy.....and.....easy chest/mount/wep. Takes away the challenge. Personally, I hate that these fights go down so easy.
On the other hand, I was able to clear and farm a8s about 6 months ago....not sure if i would have been able to if it wasn't made easier.
Bottom line, i think nerfing fights takes away a lot of the effort from players who worked their butts off and makes it trivial which is very sad. Nothing should just be handed to anyone. Everything should still be ilvl synched imo.
The quality of the players doesn't change because of nerfs. Those not driven to improve their game play aren't going to bother just because the content is harder. They'll continue to expect others to carry them, do the content unsynced once they're sufficiently overgeared, or they'll quit and find a different game to play.
The advantage to you of having the nerfs is that it keeps those other players happy and subscribed so SE has reason (and funds) to keep making content for skilled players to beat when it's first released and less skilled players to beat at a later date.
If you don't like the skill of the players you run into, don't run with random players. Create your own static for all content you want to do.

I think what he was getting at is the more top heavy a game gets with content you can cheese through the less people who want a challenge join the game. Forcing se to make more easy content and less and less challenging.
No one wants to join XIV because it has a reputation for being a fun challenge. Even Ultimate doesn't draw new people due to all the content you need to cheese your way through before you get there, esp if its done until next expac at the earliest. There is just not enough challenging content for people to care or that they are willing to suffer all the prereqs to get to. If they just kept something like savage...actually savage, instead of letting it fall to the wayside, there would be more draw for the crowd who likes it.
But as it stands, we get more and more people who just want to go in, get it done and leave with as little effort as possible because the game has become bloated with exactly that type of content.
