Can we have a server merger after fee take place ?

Due to the current server structure/program transferring characters isn't a simple task and will take a lot of effort and would probably be faster to wait for 2.0......

I'm playing on one of the livelier servers and it's already a constant battle for any open world content we have..even for grinding spots.
Merging servers would make it even worse x-X'

I'm paying because it doesn't put any dent my expenses. Not because I can mount a Goobbue and BOOM-BABA around new La Noscea.

you do realize i could likely just pay for that last month and get one too right? but either way me and Mr. Bibbles will be just fine riding around the new zones, could care less about monster mount....in fact i think its kind of dumb to see people flying around on evil eyes and giants. It just feels out of place for FF...and they are vanity items anyways.

Game does need a merger extremely bad. Need to condense the 11 servers down to 2-3 honestly get populations up to 3000ppl online min 24/7, but the negative press will probably deal too big of a blow to the restart of the game to make it worthwhile for SE to do. That and they would have to force people to spread out again at ps3 launch, which would cause people to complain non-stop.

No need to merge down to 2-3 servers only...but they do could merge the less populated ones. FFXIV has like 4-5 servers with decent amount of population only...they should just merge the other 6 into 2 or 3 servers, leaving space for the occasional "afterpatch" peak and just creating new servers as needed after 2.0 become live.

...and use the free servers to bring the original FFXIV back as spin-off game! /o/
