actually they already had a system in place to stop it before and they removed it. you couldn't add or drop from a party in combat. this would only leave one method of PL viable which is were the low lvls gotta engage the mobs first which would be really slow since they couldn't engage 15 mobs at once without dying. It was already changed to be quite a bit slower. No matter what you do or how you change it, people WILL powerlevel. The only ways one could truly stop it would put obnoxious restrictions on the game and punish everyone else at the same time. No thanks.
If people want to powerlevel, that's their business.
I don't see how the system outright prevents new players from getting to a high level without PL. It sounds more like people are preventing that, not the system. In which case, you'll have to find a group of like-minded individuals to play with.
I wouldn't mind seeing that added in again.actually they already had a system in place to stop it before and they removed it. you couldn't add or drop from a party in combat. this would only leave one method of PL viable which is were the low lvls gotta engage the mobs first which would be really slow since they couldn't engage 15 mobs at once without dying.

prob people complaining, it used to be a pain when people used to do behest and youd be fighting and youd wanna invite some one who wasn't in party yet. that's not really an issue anymore since behest are the worst content in game now.
Allow people to invite others into the party but not remove them while in combat and no one can complain. Unless they get mad cause they can't do the PL any more.

The inability to add or remove members from party while engaged leads to much more annoying scenarios than what PL does.
When they allow us to invite/kick LS members regardless of range, let's ask for them to bring that back to the old, restricted way too.

The game has much bigger issues honestly. Not only that but any restrictions put in place to stop PL would also punish legitimate players in some way, which is an issue.
Even restricting adding/removing party members mid-combat would punish players other than those who PL.
