So is development going to go back into the main game or are we still going to get less dungeons per patch?

I'm confused by the black and white logic behind peoples arguments. While very few players actually beat the fight, these fights get a lot of mileage and interest from a far wider spectrum of the playerbase. How many people followed the fight on twitch? how many people were keeping up to date on the world first race on reddit? I thought that was what the fights were supposed to be about. If you take those players into account, then the amount of people enjoying ultimate is much higher.
If the devs only want to do 2 then thats their choice I suppose, but I do wonder what 4.5 would bring if that were the case, because thats both Ultimate, and Heaven on High confirmed to have finished for the expansion, so unless they reveal some brand new content (doubtful so late into the expansion) to fill our time, all we have left is Eureka.
Assuming Polyhedral's numbers are correct, 0.35%. And that's just Twitch. How many less are even doing it?
All SE is saying is that they want more mileage out of the content. It takes a long time to get a decent amount of people into Bahamut and a long time for UwU.
HW was the same around this time. The major announced content had been added. We still have one more 24 man, one more set of Omega raids, however many more primals, some more dungeons, any new Eureka wings added...and at the end of HW they did add a few small unannounced things. Rival Wings, custom deliveries, and Wondrous Tails were all small pieces of content that were announced closer to being added in their patch. I wouldn't say we're going to have nothing to do the rest of the expansion.

It's just an easy thing to blame for most of the player base. We lost x cuz of Ultimate. Now that Ultimate is going to stop, they're going to expect more content. If we still don't get more content and they can't blame Ultimate, they'll just move on to blaming something else. Eureka seems like a good replacement scapegoat.

its actually easier to tune a fight around the ilvl we have than it is to tune to sigmascape etc due to fluxuation.
I watched the streams as the few were fighting the latest ultimate. I enjoyed seeing them find enjoyment, but I knew I'd never step foot inside it.
I'd be ready to riot right next to some of you that are upset, IF I had seen 50k+ players watching the fights for hours on end. But that isn't what I was witnessing in those streams. Sure, it was exciting to see some streaming get near 3k viewers, but the other viewers numbers to other streamers during those single peak streamer numbers dropped off very much. It's almost as if most people only wanted to watch the more probable kill being streamed. I'm kinda kidding at that last comment. I'm sure most people only wanted to watch the most likely kill stream going on, from personal observation.
Stormblood added rival wings, Khloe books were added prior to the end of HW however they dont really fill a gap, they were there to help recycle old content for modern rewards, same for custom deliveries were meant to be side stories unique to the characters at hand, but theyre kind of cast aside now and made plain for the sake of scrips, as far as expansion goes we have:We still have one more 24 man, one more set of Omega raids, however many more primals, some more dungeons, any new Eureka wings added...and at the end of HW they did add a few small unannounced things. - Eureka Updates
- Palace of the Dead
- A Final Raid Tier
- A 24 man Raid
- Approximately 3 Dungeons
- Approximately 2 Primals
Sure we have "alot" to do upcoming, but alot of it also is stuff that has been delayed and stuff that should have realistically already been added, so if that is perspective then were gonna have another big drought like we did from 2.0 to 3.0.

they also worry about player's health - when they hear stories of 21 hour/day prog and forgoing sleep to down these things that makes them rethink how many these they should put out.
