Obviously not. There's a hotfix coming to put Need back in the game. This thread, and others, will lose steam since the point will be moot.

Sorry humor is not my forte, was making a joke since the hotfix was mentioned yet this thread is still going strong. Which reminded me of parsing, since SE has mentioned their stance on them yet for some reason they get brought up every so often.

Pretty sure parsing is the eternal beaten horse because people don't look up beforehand the response SE already made on reasons for not having one in-game and then demand, beg, ask for one, or the ever entertaining demands for one while insulting SE's mothers because "they're dumb for not having a parser." Oh well XD

Hello, Producer and Director Yoshi-P here. Patch 4.3 brought major changes to the Need/Greed system in alliance raids, and we received a lot of feedback from players around the world. After careful consideration, we have decided to revert those changes and bring back the Need option. This will take effect from the next hotfix and includes all alliance raids.

Since you reversed a bad idea, I have a few questions.
Why was this done in the first place?
Are you going to reverse the forced cut-scenes in MSQ roulette? (have some way of putting that dialog option back in it?)
Are you going to reverse no chat in feast?

I do not think the player base needs to be micromanaged to this extent. You give party finder, you give people tools, why did you make these changes?

While on topic of micromanaging, put social options while in duty. This means allow tells to be sent out like every other game, look at wow, I never had harassment taken on me there because we can send tells, it was very helpful to message a specific person in the party on something. The fear you have can be done as is, someone says in party chat the one line harassment line then leaves the duty, I see no excuse for this.
