Hunting Log already completed

Steps:
1. Create an alternate character on my main server
2. complete level 1 lancer quest which unlocks the hunting log
3. view hunting log to see i have lancer entries up to level 30 completed already

My best guess would be that hunting log (as well as map completion) is shared among all characters on a given account, however I couldn't find anything detailing that online.

I got this on one new character as well. For me it cleared up by simply logging out and logging in again, after which the hunting log showed the correct state.

Neither hunting log nor map completion is shared among characters.
