Enmity reset on Coincounter, Aurum Vale

2nd boss of the leveling dungeon Aurum Vale. I am a dark knight.

    (1) I use the role action Low Blow to stun the boss.

    (2) Boom I instantly lose the huge enmity lead I had over other party members upon using this action. It seems to wipe all party members' enmity clean and now we all have the same value, I have to work to regain attention of the boss.

This has happened to me 4 times recently. The enemy move that I was stunning is called Eye of the Beholder if that matters.

    Monster name: Coincounter
    Class/Level: 49 sync
    Party or solo: Party
    Area: Aurum Vale

Edit: nevermind, not a bug. working as intended

The enmity reset is a mechanic of the Coincounter, he even displays a message for this.

He does this in regular intervals, but i think it was nerfed with Heavensward, because nowadays i only see it once in the fight and in the past i had this up to three times.

It's weird because I never saw this happen one time in almost 5 years but then in the last two runs it happened 4 times, causing me to think it was a bug. Maybe it's just more noticeable now because the way I play has changed; I use a stun on that move to prevent ranged players from having to stack in, while in the past I didn't tend to interrupt and never noticed the temporary enmity loss because the boss is usually stuck in a fixed position charging the attack. I can't find this mechanic mentioned in any text or video guides, but mizzteq mentions she's heard of it existing but hasn't personally seen it happen.

In addition to what legion is saying. Eye of the beholder is the attack where he resets aggro. So you were actually seeing intended mechanics.

I had it happen after every cast action at least once.
It seems to be tied to happen after this casts but not beeing part of the action of the cast, more like a follow up mechanic or just the next mechanic in line.

I've never seen this happen. Sure the boss will target someone and walk over to them to cast the attack, but doesn't aggro stay on the tank?

For the attack sure, but there is a enmity reset mechanic.
It has no cast or anything just a message, in german it says "Münzzähler hat es sich anders überlegt", so i guess in english it says "Coincounter changed his mind".
This sentence indicates the enmity reset and some blur swirls like transpose.

It's closer to "Coincounter takes a moment to reconsider."

I might be wrong but I think all standard Cyclops mobs have an enmity reset.

Also, the Swing should be stunned, not Eye of the Beholder. Tbh.
