Flames for all Bonewicca Sets

I actually don't care about sparkly flames and glowing swords. I actively avoid these glams in game. What worries me is how acceptable lazy design becomes and how far people will reach for excuses when it benefits them.

Often times when I'm presented with an argument so silly and weak, I secretly hope that the person making the argument is really just trolling and they don't actually believe what they're saying. This is one of those times.

Yes, you are. Furthermore, you can't give the perspective of anyone who doesn't care or didn't hear about these contests. Why? Because you're not their voice of reason and they don't need you to tell others how they should think or feel. No one likes it when someone else makes generalized assumptions on their behalf, let alone become their spokesperson as if they can't think or feel for themselves. You're not their voice nor are you an expert on it. Again, a poor argument as I've pointed out countless times beforehand.

So your saying that as much effort went into each of the other job sets in the healer and tank contest, but hey, it's not lazy to do the same for the caster contest because... reasons?

That is lazy design. The majority of players will have never heard of these contests. They will not understand why one job looks great and has effects while the rest don't.

If the previous contests had a consistent design, why is it fine to stop designing the other jobs in this contest when it comes to effects like flames. Why would a sudden drop in quality in any job sets from a dungeon be acceptable.

The designs were consistent across the board. Do you not know what consistency is? Each piece of non-caster gear has the same colors, the same textures, the same general style, and the only thing, the ONLY thing they're missing is a glowing helmet, that's it. That's not laziness, it's a design choice made by the developers and one you apparently don't agree with it as someone else above me also pointed out. If there was no consistency across the other jobs, they'd be different colors entirely, way different styles and textures than the original concept, and have things ON THEM that are no where present nor anywhere near the original design.

You are acting incredibly self-centered as much as the TC was being regarding this matter over a damn, glowing helmet. If you think you can design gear better, let's hear it or see it then in the next contests. Clearly, you seem to think you know more about gear design than the devs themselves or any game designer for that matter.

Me too. Why ask for gear sets and then change it so much? (Like adding belts to the top or making it into normal pants). I am fine with the head but it also looks so different to the drawings.

@OP: I can understand that it might be sad that its caster only but it was a caster contest and one can be lucky that they are even giving us other sets. (Even if those sometimes dont even look thematically like the original one)

dont really care about the flames, just annoyed at the skirt on the tank chest, looks tacky and makes it feel like a repeat of the current crafted and void ark sets.

Even the designer of the caster set thought the other classes were poorly designed and the developers missed the focal points of the original design.

It's a case of recognizing one set had a lot more effort than the others and the non caster sets as a whole aren't tied together well design wise.

Hello! This is the original designer of caster set, Rei
first, thank you very much to choose my design , this is a honor to me, I looked forward to see how they make that pants for female lol as i hope female can wear something like Shisui male pants, and the mask! I really love the skully style mask we already have one in game, but i want it more cyber looking so i designed it with a more simple, not really a skully shape, also the ghostly fire antlers! It must be awesome when people can turn the fire on and off, that must be fun! The broken cape! I was super happy that the dev team want to make the cape possible to work!
That time i thought, how about other classes?
"Yes! The tank! It must be some kind of BULL! caster is deer antlers so the tank must have a huge horns with a badass skull like Reaper with a big broken cape!"
Ok, so what we get here xD?
Nope. No window pants, no ghostly fire antlers, no animal-skully-mask with glowing horns to other classes...
.....just, no.

Okay, my feeling was so complicated, for "yay! They really make my design in game!" and "woohoo! They base on my design to other classss....oh wait, they just take the skull head and the black with golden color clothing idea for other class..."
"Omg , what happened to the mask....they have a weird part to cover the eyes? The horns looks like ifrit horns with a weird shape..."
"Oh wait, the caster have belt?that loincloth looks so wide....why they want to cover the thighs...."
"Hey! WHAT?! There are a black parts at the pants?! Where is the window..?!OHNOOOOOOGODDD"

That's what i felt when i saw them in game and i so disappointed QQ
I know it is because i just design for the caster, but i feel sad to the other classes u_u)
