There needs to be a better way to level DoM/DoW.

I do believe the combat classes have enough choices to level to the max in a reasonable amount of time.

Seconding this as well. There are plenty of options, just most of them require a lot of grinding. The only thing I'm struggling on is levelling my third class from 60-70 (getting to 60 is a cinch), but I would say that's more lack of motivation on my part. Just gotta deal with the grind. FF loves its grind.~
