    Ultimate and Savage stuff? I don't mind that, but for some reason PvP rewards rankles me and a large number of people I talk to.

    One problem with PvP is that unlike Ultimate and Savage, awards are locked behind both time and amount. It's 100 per data center or something, and then there's the different awards per season or what not. An expansion and a half from now people will be running Ultimate unsynced and getting all the goodies they want from it (I'm knowingly exaggerating, Coils for instance is still a pain) when the bragging rights on it have long since rotted away. Meanwhile, if you missed PvP awards they're just gone.
