Things SE Unnecessarily Did [List]

As a newish player...I'm enjoying reading these posts and sensing years of frustration in each comment. Lets me get a feel for what lies ahead.

I could be wrong, but I imagine that people who don't read official forums may be better off in the long run. For better or worse, the forums are a place where people come to air annoyances, and if it's all you read, it can give you a fairly negative outlook of the game. Much like watching the news. It's all doom and gloom, at least per the news networks, but the world isn't half bad

Of course some good comes out of this place as well, just try and form your own opinion of the game without getting weighed down by the complaints.

Oh yeah I know exactly what you mean. I'm a long time vet on another current MMO and almost everything we say in forums is filled with bitterness due to all the bad game changes we lived through. I'm able to see through.

Like you said tho, any players reading those forums would be very misinformed if they passed judgement based on those comments. Still though, it's helpful for me. It's cool being the fresh player for once, not having been here from the true start.
