No no no. Do not listen to that. If you were to then why would someone take a 4.5k Ninja with a rdps gain of 500 over a SAM that did 6.5k when they can have a 6.5k NIN with 500 rdps. Ninja is a part of the Meta because it does a lot of damage and provides utility, not one or the other. To be extremely blunt, in a fight like O6s with your gear you should be doing a lowball of 5.3k minimum in a bad comp, deathless. Granted NIN imo is hard, as I play it occasionally with less than thrilling dps, but that doesn't excuse doing such low dps. I do 4.5k on my PLD with a bad comp. Practice makes perfect. There are very useful guides out there by just Googling, and dummies are abundant to hit.

Yes and like i said i admitted i could be a better Nin, and all honesty i do not care for for the job overly much but the group needed a mellee as we had too many casters. Had i went caster i would expect to have easily be in the 5 to 6K Range.
I did have better numbers last night, got more gear (after we raided, go figure) and have joined balance discord to see what i can do better.
