Why is the XIV playerbase so eager to fling money at SE?

Why is the XIV playerbase so eager to fling money at SE?
Another thread all this has been covered already short summary;In addition to the premium app which will be released soon and the favorable mog station with plenty of high quality premium offers like emotes, Isuggest that SE offers me another possibility to spend more money on the game besides my monthly sub.
SE should offer crowdfunding for implementing content, bosses and features. This way SE sees directly what is demanded by the playerbase by offering multiple options what they could implement for a patch. Premium backers can then be rewarded with additional pets, mounts and other high-value stuff, which can be shown-off ingame to poorer players.
Another advantage for SE is that they don't spend money on unpopular content anymore, which will then be also advantageous for me as a shareholder.
Premium content / emotes;
People fail to understand the whole principle of business blah blah blah, they fail to understand that this is in regards to request of previous event rewards they were offer in game ( some )...blah blah blah, Mogstation items and services are OPTIONAL meaning ( most people lack or have very poor comprehension skills ) available to be chosen but not obligatory, blah blah blah new thread.
App;
People don't know what a business is...blah blah blah...white knighting company...blah blah blah...rage quitters that are hypocrites and comeback ether way... blah blah blah people are just cheap or broke and envy those who can afford it.. blah blah blah...its call OPTIONAL meaning available to be chosen but not obligatory, blah blah blah people lack common sense and will make new threads thinks its original being that they can't argue the facts or reality.
Over all great job failing to understand common sense of the whole purpose of a business. This must be Troll thread I doubt that the world can be this dumb.

Only if it comes with a mailed platinum V.I.P card with a 10,000 Yen starter bonus that can be used in the FFXIV pachinko machines debuting at all major arcades in Japan next year. Please look forward to it!
OP is clearly trying to troll. If i were to give my honest reply if he seriously trying to ask SE to crowfund content and features, I suggest SE take the revenue they make from us and put it back into FF14 and not other projects (FF7R, FF15 DLC, FF16 (it got to be in development by now) etc).
I do not want to see them crowfunding content when we're already paying a sub fee.

Though I do respect these guys for having their game funded with 186 million dollar over 6 years.Most of these crowdfunded games don't even get released. The most successful one is still selling virtual ships for $27,000 with barely any game to show for it. Seems like a scam to me. You might as well flush your money down the toilet.
The OP reads like a troll post though.
There are a lot of fools with money, indeed, and they are parting themselves from it quite willingly it seems.

Don't even joke about it OP.

Absolutely not.
Crowdfunding is not for putting more money into SE's shareholders pockets. Crowdfunding only works for two specific use cases:
- Risky and/or experimental projects. Indie films, animation, games that have "big name" people behind it that know what they're doing, but traditional publishers balk at funding it.
These are things like sequels or new IP by people who have experience doing what they do best. So far most of these projects either fail or are lackluster/late.
- Indie games by essentially unknowns
Square Enix has a site for generating interest in them, about 150 of them: https://collective.square-enix.com/
Crowdfunding is not for funding ongoing development of an existing property, especially one that is profitable anyway. You try this with a successful game, and it sends the message that you're holding the content updates hostage. Crowdfunding will never work in a MMO Context because of Star Citizen.With more games being released each year than ever before, it’s becoming increasingly difficult for indie developers to share their new and innovative game ideas with the wider gaming community. We created Square Enix Collective to help shine a spotlight on new talent and fresh ideas; to support greater creativity and a wider, more diverse range of emotions, perspectives and experiences in videogames. We believe supporting indie developers is vital to the future health of the videogames industry.

People who put money into Star Citizen have largely nothing to show for it but some demo-level grade content. Likewise with Shroud of the Avatar It was officially released two months ago, despite being crowdfunded around the same time as Star Citizen (3 million total,) and... literately does not work.A $27,000 bundle of spaceships and in-game content for Star Citizen caught the attention of backers and detractors of the massively crowdfunded space combat adventure earlier this week.
As a concept, the “Legatus Pack” isn’t really anything new. Roberts Space Industries has previously offered a “Completionist” pack with every ship in the game — at $15,000. What is different is the even higher price tag for the Legatus Pack, and the extra items thrown in. Like a past high-roller offer, it’s available only to those who have contributed $1,000 or more to Star Citizen’s funding.
Of course, for a game that has pulled in $185 million in crowdfunding over six years and has a development timeline that can be called, at best, nontraditional, the existence of the Legatus Pack once again riled up those who were already inclined to drag Star Citizen. But some in the community didn’t appreciate the optics of the bundle, either.
So far crowd-funding for MMO's appear to be batting zero.
