Well we learned quite a while ago there was an area that during the conquest of Orthad showed Solus the damage to the world that a primal could cause and lead to Garlemald's stunch anti primal viewpoint. The burn is the obvious sight.

As for Bozja, I got the impression it was a bit closer to Ilsibard and frankly I imagine its not much more than a crater unless they have rebuilt it. The entire town was obliterated.

According to the snippet of timeline from the lorebook cited in this thread, Bozja was a Garlean city in Othard, primarily commercial sector.

I do wish they would at least tease us with whether or not the Burn is supposed to be what's left of Bozja. >.>; It would fit in my eyes that part of the effort to censor the news of the accident would be for imperial censors to sell off the story as "eikons did it those dang savages".

Yeah I kinda do have the feeling that all the "we do this because eikons" part is just a cover up or only part of what was happening. They did see primals in Othard but even Alexander did not do anything at all to the landscape. How long was this summon out or how strong was it that it leaves such utter destruction?

Letter from the Producer LIVE Part IX Q&A Summary (10/30/2013)
Q: Will there be any maintenance fees or other costs for housing, besides the cost of the land and house?
A: In older MMOs, such as Ultima Online, there was a house maintenance fee you had to pay weekly, but in FFXIV: ARR we decided against this system. Similarly, these older MMOs also had a system where your house would break down if you didn’t log in after a while in order to have you continue your subscription, but this is a thing of the past and we won't have any system like that.

The Burn is way too big to be Bozja. The city was destroyed yes but the Burn is about the size of Doma. Its a huge area.

I might be wrong but I always suspected Bozja was somewhere between the border of Ilsbard and Othard which would probably be north of the Burn. South of the Burn is almost certainly the areas like Rabanastre. As a trade hub I imagined it having a position similar to Ala Mhigo has for Eorzea.

Except I thought we were told explicitly that Rabanastre and Dalmasca more generally are parts of Ilsabard, not Othard. Also, that thread contains a line from the lorebook situating Bozja in Othard. It's huge as hells, yeah, but considering that what struck the Citadel completely vaporised it I don't really find it out of the question that it was the epicenter of an even larger blast zone.
