So basically...if the baddie doesn't want your advice, you repeat the advice they don't want and if the baddie tells you to **** off as a result of you berating him/her with your advice...you think to launch a vote kick because he/she doesn't want your advice? Starting to think you might be the baddie instead of the actual baddie bro.

If the player doesn't want your advice then that's a sign that you should either move on and get the instance over with while tolerating the baddie...or just leave asap. By launching a vote kick on that person, you are showing everyone else that you are petty, bitter and maybe butthurt cause he/she didn't want your "advice". So in retaliation, you want to vote kick that person. My advice is to just get the instance done and let the baddie be bad. 9/10 the baddie will screw up, die, get carried or maybe shock you and do better than you.

Just because someone doesn't want your advice, doesn't make it right to repeat it (aka drill it into their head) or attempt or think to kick that person. You will come off as a a******e and that only helps out the baddie. If I was in a party like that with a baddie, but the person (you) made it a issue to berate the baddie just because he/she didn't your advice and you attempted a vote kick...I'd vote against you right there. If he/she doesn't want your advice, then drop it there and either move on or leave.

I'm not defending the baddies, but the players who berate them are just as bad as them.

I think too many people are like the Cousin Roland and the Fu brothers here.

seriously its funny to me, usually my problem is the tank leaves after the first wipe, as opposed to bad reception of advice.

I think that's just become everyone's default expectation for strangers talking to them online.
Tried it and the reply was ''let me deal with the mechanics the way I do it or fk you.''

I agree with this. Someone who is 70 would ask for help if they needed it or read or watched a guide by then. If they have not, they are unlikely to care for any advice by that point. Also, the first weeks of a new patch I go into new things blind and I want to learn the mechanics on my own by watching bosses' text and movements. It was more fun to read the scrap papers and get clues for what to do in the Lighthouse vs having someone just type it out.

I have to agree unfortunately duty finder with someone you don’t know at lvl 70 may not be the place for the unwanted advice...I tend to just get the dungeon over instead of getting yelled at...

Probably after the duty finder maybe tell that person but even that is icy ground....rule of thumb I follow if it’s not wiping the party just remain silent or if someone ask then talk till your hearts content lol

Im the same I usually wait for someone to ask or let them try the content first (if they are a sprout) and help them after if we wipe. I usually dont say anything to level 70s as I assume they at least think they know what they are doing.

Tone is definitely important. Saying for example "tank shield oath" to a sprout seems a bit rude (they have a name) and it doesnt explain to them why its important. I use "[insert name] use shield oath because..." Ive always felt sounds at least friendlier so less likelihood of it blowing up in my face. I see it like a maths problem, I can give them the solution but thats no good to them if I dont explain the reasoning as to how we got it.
