And that's why there is no update on the translation thread? I didn't think this was a bad spot to discuss the translations.

Plus, all that work he puts into it, and he has to make the translations further and further apart, just making that thread way too big.

The number of threads is irrelevant, as people will just swamp the new one with irrelevant posts anyway.

What Reinhart does is provide a volunteer service that's far more valuable than the usual worthless drivel that goes on in these forums. While nobody can forcibly prevent you from posting said worthless drivel in an actual useful thread (other than perhaps flagging everything for being off-topic), it is just bad form.

I wouldn't go that far. Immediate reactions are acceptable. When people make a habit of discussing back and forth for pages at a time though, things get annoying.
