Hildy just isn't very funny anymore

I still adore Hildibrand. If anything, the problem is that his content is so sparse since HW. No trials, and the quests barely get going before we're presented with Next Episode Previews. They feel like appetizers instead of the full course meals ARR gave us. Still good, but not enough to sate my hunger.

Yeah I think that this is a problem too. When I started the HW quest I was like "What this is already over?" so I am waiting at least for another patch or two until I will start the SB one.

The only reason they keep adding more of him is because apparently people keep asking for more. I never really cared for Hildy from the beginning.

I like Hildibrand. ARR was wonderful, HW was fair at best, and SB brought the charm back to awesomeness, especially with the Dango Bombs and Hildi's facial expressions.

I actually prefer the more grounded hildy from hw and sb compared to arr.

Japanese slapstick humor has always been cringey for me, the type where you feel embarrassed for the person in question. However, I completely understand why so many people like his side quests. Maybe Yoshida will stop putting resources into it if he finds out the majority of us don’t do the content.

I liked the ARR and HW stories, but the Stormblood quests so far have just been too short to actually go anywhere. Feels like it's just starting up, and then "NEXT TIME!"

I love Hidibrand! While I didn't enjoy the Heavensward quests quite as much as ARR I literally laughed out loud more than once at the most recent ones.

I've got a kind of nostalgic bias for old Hildy since meeting him in 1.0 too, haha.
